Download printable Matthew Bible verse copywork pages to supplement the My Father’s World Exploring Countries & Cultures homeschool curriculum.
We have used the My Father’s World homeschool curriculum for over ten years! I think it suffices to say that we love the program! It has been a true blessing for our family.
As with all of our MFW curriculum, I have created printables and copywork pages to go along with the Bible verses learned in the cycle.

The first curriculum package in the My Father’s World 3rd – 8th grade learning cycle is Exploring Countries & Cultures. The Bible verses covered during this year of the program come from the book of Matthew and coordinate with those included in the curriculum.

These Bible copywork pages are a wonderful way to incorporate handwriting and penmanship while working to memorize the verses.
The coordinating Bible verses are great to either hang on the wall or place in a notebook for review purposes.
What Matthew Bible verses are included?
There are a total 30 verses from Matthew:
1) Matthew 1:23 – “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” – which means, “God with us.”
2) Matthew 4:4 – Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”
3) Matthew 4:19 – “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
4) Matthew 5:11 – “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”
5) Matthew 5:12 – “Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
6) Matthew 5:14 – “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”
7) Matthew 5:15 – “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
8) Matthew 5:16 – “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
9) Matthew 5:44 – “But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.”
10) Matthew 5:45 – “…that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
11) Matthew 9:37b-38 – “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
12) Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened; and I will give you rest.”
13) Matthew 11:29-30 – “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
14) Matthew 6:19 – “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.”
15) Matthew 6:20-21 – “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there you heart will be also.”
16) Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
17) Matthew 6:25 – “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?”
18) Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
19) Matthew 6:9b-13 – “Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”
19) Matthew 6: 9b-13 – Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. (I included this because it’s the version I memorized as a young girl!)
20) Matthew 7:12 – “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
21) Matthew 20:26b-27 – “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.”
22) Matthew 20:28 – “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
23) Matthew 22:37b-38 – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.
24) Matthew 22:39-40 – “And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
25) Matthew 25:34 – Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.”
26) Matthew 25:35 – “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
27) Matthew 25:36 – “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
28) Matthew 25:40 – “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
29) Matthew 28:18-19 – Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
30) Matthew 28:20 – “…and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

PLEASE NOTE: These printables were designed for use by 2nd and 3rd graders using the My Father’s World Exploring Countries & Cultures curriculum.
Lastly, I created these printables to coordinate with the original version of the MFW ECC curriculum. I am not certain if they coordinate with the current version available.

Hi Anna! No, I do not have the New Testament printables ready yet! I will bump it up on my to-do list! Be sure to be on the look out for them on my blog!
Anna Williamson
Do you have the NT book printables? I have the OT books downloaded from: http://www.mamajenn.com/files/MamaJenn/BiblePrintables/Old_Testament_Books.pdf

Are you going to be coming out with printables for MFW Creation to the Greeks for this school year??? I have loved using your printables and soooo appreciate all your hard work. Thank you!!!!
Terri
Many thanks to you!
Mama Jenn
Hmm, I have not had that problem and no one else has indicated having the same problem. Have you tried printing a page? Perhaps the lines will show up on the printed copy. My next suggestion would be to try downloading the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Hopefully one of these solutions will solve the problem for you.
Mel
What a great resource! Thanks so much for sharing! I am also using ECC and just downloaded the copywork pages. The only problem is that none of the lines show up in the pdf (lines for doing the copywork). I tried downloading 3 different times. I can see the graphics and the verses great, just no lines. Any ideas?
Deb
