We are pressing forward and we finally finished up the letter D. Of course, we added D pictures to our D collage, practiced our penmanship, and read lots of books. But, here were some of the highlights from our D week(s)! The boys always love playing with dominoes. Check out their domino “D”.
The big three had been asking to make Dalmatian dogs for awhile. Since it would tie in with our D week, I found this link and we got busy. KJ wanted to make one too. So, she added a bow to be sure that everyone knew hers was a girl!
I finally pulled out the Duck Duck Goose Game that I picked up from the Goodwill. It plays the cutest little song and the kids LOVED it!
We tried to observe similarities in some of their dinosaur toys and match them up with the ones in their dinosaur book. We also watched Dinosaur Train…everyday. All of my kids LOVE Dinosaur Train!!!
We practiced “dunking” on our basketball goal. This was lots of fun!!!
I didn’t get pictures, but I also got them to help me around the house by dusting (they each have their own little duster that I picked up from the Dollar Store) and we started making a dinner placemat to teach them how to properly set the table. (I will post about that once we finish it up.) Well, that pretty much wraps up our D week.
