Resurrecting Mr. Frog

Last week while walking through our neighborhood, the kids found a frog. Sounds, interesting, huh?!?!?!? Well, it was a smashed, dead frog on the side of the road. Wanting to get a closer look, JI picked it up. They discussed how it was probably too hot and that he just needed some water. I tried to explain to the kids that the frog was dead and that water would not do anything to change it. But, they insisted on helping out Mr. Frog. So, we brought him home and they began their attempts at resurrecting Mr. Frog. They put him in a cup of water. Then they told me that maybe he just needed to be with his friends (our neighbors have a little pond with tons of frogs) and that they wanted to throw him over the fence into the pond. Well, after many attempts, needless to say, the kids were not successful at resurrecting Mr. Frog!

Oh how cute!!!!! As I was reading I thought they were going to lay hands on him and pray or try to bring him back like Jesus brought Lazareth. :)
