We read the book Snip, Snip…Snow! by Nancy Poydarand made snowflakes and snowmen.

Sophie takes the “art” a bit further by recycling the snowflake scraps by using them to make a snowman. We did the same!!! (I can’t tell if they look more like snowmen or penguins!!!!)

I love the snowmen! We are working on a “snow theme” right now – lots of fun! 🙂
Raising a Happy Child
Interesting book and cute projects. I am going to put the book on the list of January books when I want to do winter theme with my daughter.

Hi Jenn
This sounds like a sweet and enjoyable book. The snowflakes are beautiful and it’s such a neat idea to use the scraps to create snowmen.

That looks like a very cute book and a fun project too! They did a great job on their snowmen, I never thought of using all of those scraps like that before.
Thank you so much for linking up :0)

Thanks for sharing this!

Those look so cute. I would never have thought of using the scraps to make something, I probably would have just thrown them away.
Brimful Curiosities
Fun scrap snowman! We might have to try your project today. The snow outside isn’t wet enough to build a real one.
